Val obtained a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology in Economy and Society from the University of California, San Diego in 2019. After graduating from college, Val worked as a paralegal in California, assisting in employment class actions, discrimination, and Proposition 65 lawsuits. She attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law and graduated in 2025. During her time as a law student, Val interned at the Ohio First District Court of Appeals, assisting appellate judges in various civil and criminal matters. She also worked as a law clerk for an insurance company, assisting in legal research, claims auditing, and review of medical records, all pertaining to worker's compensation matters. 

Val joined White, Getgey & Meyer as an Associate Attorney in 2026. Her diverse experience has led her to insurance defense practice where she can hone a deeper involvement in civil litigation and courtroom appearances through an active and wide caseload. Val is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, where she can connect and assist any Hispanic law students interested in pursuing a career in civil litigation or similar practice areas. 

Besides pursuing her professional goals as an attorney, Val is passionate about bodybuilding and balances this lifestyle to meet the demands of her career and clients. When she is not at the office, Val is most likely at the gym or spending time with her friends, playing trivia or board games.
