For more than 25 years, Jean has been litigating on behalf of individuals and businesses at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court. Her diverse practice encompasses all manner of disputes, representing plaintiffs and defendants.
Jean began her legal career with Graydon, Head & Ritchey in Cincinnati, where she practiced commercial defense litigation. Before joining White, Getgey & Meyer in 2013, Jean spent 14 years with one of the nation’s preeminent plaintiffs’ litigation firms where she represented large institutional investors, individuals and classes of individuals in complex, multi-district and class action cases, including Holocaust survivors and the non-governmental organizations that represent them. With Jean’s assistance, those organizations negotiated approximately $9 billion in compensation and restitution for Holocaust victims and survivors.
Jean has real-world corporate experience, having spent 18 months as in-house counsel for GE Aviation conducting internal compliance investigations, and as General Counsel for Matlock Electric Co., Inc.
Active in the legal community, Jean served as the 122nd President of the Cincinnati Bar Association and is the Executive Director of the Potter Stewart American Inn of Court.
She has been honored by the Public Justice Foundation as a Trial Lawyer of the Year, as a Super Lawyer, one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Ohio, and one of the Top 25 Women Attorneys in Cincinnati.
Jean, her husband Dean and their two children live in Hebron, Kentucky.
